River Honey’s sound is a reflection of the warm character and grit of their industrial hometown, Windsor, Ontario. Growing up along the banks of the Detroit River deeply connected to the local automotive manufacturing plant, the band descends from generations of tireless factory and trade workers. Their sound resonates with echoes of the 1990s grunge and raw rock and roll movement (The Tragically Hip, Pearl Jam, The Sundays). As they take the stage together, River Honey imbues gripping nostalgic melodies and heartfelt lyrics of a group whose connection runs as deep as the river that shaped them. River Honey will release their first single, “Billy the Bronco,” in April 2024.
